Supported by regular energy audits and preventive maintenance, this integrated approach ensures efficient resource use, minimizes energy losses, and drives continuous improvement in campus sustainability.
Monthly Monitoring
Operational sustainability is supported through continuous monitoring of electricity consumption, renewable energy generation, greenhouse gas emissions, natural gas consumption, water use and waste generation. Monthly monitoring enables timely performance evaluation, preventive maintenance and evidence-based environmental management.

Every academic, administrative, and residential building has been designed or modernized to integrate green building principles that maximize natural daylight, improve indoor environmental quality, enhance energy performance, optimize water efficiency, and support intelligent building management. This integrated approach reduces resource consumption, creates healthier learning environments, and strengthens the long-term sustainability and resilience of the campus.
Architectural performance
Large glazed façades and generously sized windows maximize the use of natural daylight throughout classrooms, offices, meeting rooms, and common areas. This architectural design significantly reduces the need for artificial lighting during daytime hours, improves visual comfort, enhances occupant well-being, and contributes to lower electricity consumption across the campus.
Greenhouse gas management
The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan has established a comprehensive Climate Action Framework that integrates greenhouse gas management into campus planning, infrastructure development, and daily operations.
The Academy implements coordinated measures targeting Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions, combining renewable energy, high-performance buildings, sustainable mobility, smart resource management, and responsible operational practices to accelerate the transition toward a low-carbon and climate-resilient campus.

Education, innovation and professional training
The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan advances energy sustainability not only through campus infrastructure, but also through legal education, innovation, professional training and public-sector capacity building in the field of energy resource management.
A dedicated national competition titled “Innovative Approaches to Preventing Violations in the Use of Energy Resources and Organizing Effective Control in the Sector” was organized by the Academy to identify practical, research-based proposals on preventing violations in the use of electricity and natural gas. The competition attracted nearly 200 participants, including practitioners, researchers and students from higher education and research institutions. Winners were selected by a competition commission and awarded monetary prizes.
The competition included awards of 20 million UZS for first place, 15 million UZS for second place and 10 million UZS for third place, encouraging applied innovation, comparative analysis of foreign experience and practical solutions for improving control over energy resource use.
In parallel, the Academy developed methodological and educational materials for prosecutors and energy-sector professionals, including manuals on prosecutorial supervision over the use and consumption of energy resources, legal regulation of natural gas supply, and legal foundations of electricity-sector governance.
Together with the Ministry of Energy, the Academy’s E-Learning Department developed distance-learning modules on electricity-sector operations, consumer use of electricity and effective organization of gas supply systems. A total of 2,104 energy-sector specialists were enrolled in these courses, and 1,490 participants received certificates.
Professional development issues for energy sector employees were discussed.
Mobile training sessions on prosecutorial supervision over energy resource use and energy efficiency legislation are also conducted in the regions, including practical training for prosecution and internal affairs officers in Samarkand and Jizzakh regions.

Through these activities, the Academy strengthens energy governance, promotes lawful and efficient use of electricity and natural gas, and contributes to national efforts to improve energy efficiency and reduce resource losses.
